ALMA Cycle 12 Users Workshop 2025 Summary

The ALMA Cycle 12 Users Workshop was organized by the ALMA Regional Center (Taiwan-ARC) of ASIAA and the Taiwan Astronomical Research Alliance (TARA). As the world’s leading interferometer, ALMA receives more than 1,500 proposals each year, making the competition intense, especially for new users. The workshop was designed to help prepare ALMA Cycle 12 proposals and targeted graduate students, postdocs, faculty members, and anyone interested in using ALMA in Taiwan. This year, the workshop was held at National Tsing Hua University on March 25th, with the aim of encouraging students and new users to submit their proposals. In total, over 28 participants attended the workshop, including online attendees.

ALMA Cycle 12 用戶研討會由國際天文台 ALMA 台灣區域中心 (Taiwan-ARC) 與台灣天文研究聯盟 (TARA) 主辦。作為全球領先的干涉儀，ALMA 每年收到超過 1,500 項觀測計畫，使得競爭十分激烈，尤其對於新使用者而言更具挑戰性。此次研討會旨在協助準備 ALMA Cycle 12 的觀測計畫，並針對研究生、博士後、教職員及任何有興趣使用 ALMA 的人員。為了鼓勵學生及新使用者提交提案，本次研討會於 3 月 25 日在國立清華大學舉行。總共吸引了 28 位以上的參與者，其中包括線上參與者。
